Costa Rica Solar Solutions proudly announces a partnership with CoopeServidores. Understanding the difference between owning and leasing.
We can offer the cheapest financing in Costa Rica even cheaper than our competitors that offer leasing. CoopeServidores offers as low as 4% with 0% down for 10 years and the solar system is the collateral.
With the team of CRSS and CoopeServidores you will not only have the cheapest financing but also the best product. Many other companies make their money on the financing of the system, and you have no control over what they install on your roof. CRSS ensures that you will have the best quality and best financing available.
What is the difference between financing and leasing a system?
When you finance a system, you will have a loan with CoopeServidores and own the system. You will also enjoy the full savings of the energy you produce. Since CoopeServidores offers 0% down and as low as 4% colonies over 10 years, this makes it cheaper in many cases to finance a system rather than pay your existing electric bill. If you leased a system from a competitor, you would not own the system and the leasing company receives the long-term income from your payments. You will save a portion of the electric bill but will not enjoy the lower interest rates such as owning the system.
How about maintenance of the Solar system if I own the system.
When you do own the system, you will be responsible of maintaining the system. However, this is not as big of a deal is it seems. CRSS uses SolarEdge inverters which have warranties up to 20 years, so the cost of maintenance for warrantied items are covered. You will have full access to monitoring and assured when there is a problem it will be covered. When you lease a system, you would give up many of the rights to monitoring the system since you don’t own it.
When you own the system, you have direct access to the installation company.
Many of the leasing companies outsource the installation process losing the quality control of installation. CRSS has worked with one of the leasing companies in Costa Rica and has found out the hard way of losing of communication to the end consumer. If CRSS has found a problem with the system and contacted the leasing company to fix the problem communication gets lost and the client would not know if there was or was not a problem losing valuable production time.
